Our family history dates back six generations, and we are proud to continue passing on our passion and expertise.
Today, the fifth generation—Christine and Daniel (sister and brother)—manages the estate alongside the sixth generation,
Quentin, Joris, and Arnaud (brothers and cousins).
Here, every member of the family plays an important role in the production of our wines. From the vineyard to the cellar, we work hand in hand to create wines that reflect our terroir, our philosophy, and our expertise.
Les 2 chênes
They mark the boundaries of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône Villages appellations.
Located just a short walk from the estate, the two oak trees have become our emblem, which you’ll find on all our
visuals, logos, labels, and more.
The Vineyard
Our vineyard spans 34 hectares: Châteauneuf-du-Pape (12 hectares), Côtes du Rhône Villages (20 hectares), and Vin de France (2 hectares).
We have a wonderful variety of terroirs, including clay and sandy soils, as well as the famous rounded pebbles of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The grape varieties include Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault, and Carignan for the reds. For the whites, we grow Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Clairette.
Our Philosophy
We have been practicing organic farming since 2012 and switched to biodynamic farming in 2021. We believe in preserving the environment and maintaining the health of our soils. That is why we prioritize mechanical soil cultivation. We pay particular attention to pruning and green pruning (suckering, leaf removal, etc.).
The harvest is entirely manual, as the grapes are sorted directly in the vineyard.
Bottling is done by us in the cellar.
We are 100% self-sufficient.
Biodynamic farming
At Boislauzon, biodynamics is a way of promoting the well-being of the vines and their environment using 100% natural methods.
We follow a lunar calendar for our work in the vineyard and the cellar.
