THE ESTATE :
The estate is located north of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Boislauzon sector of the village of ORANGE.
Christine et Daniel CHAUSSY, the 5th generation of winemakers in the family, run the estate.
- 9 hectares (22 acres) in the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation, divided among 15 parcels in the vineyards known as Cabrières, Boislauzon, La Gardiole, Palestor, and Pignan.
- 15 hectares (37 acres) in Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation, divided among 15 parcels, within 5 kms of the estate, in the vineyards known as Boislauzon and Coudoulet.
“Les Deux Chênes” (« The 2 Oaks ») :
The two oaks image that appears on all Mas de Boislauzon packaging is a sketch of the two oak trees on the property that mark the actual border limits of the Côtes du Rhône Villages and Châteauneuf du Pape appellations.
